So much more than a job
It may sound cliché but it is true. A career taking care of cancer patients is a calling for most all of us. It’s much more than a job. Each of us has a unique story that brought us to Compass Oncology but those stories usually share common themes of care, compassion, and commitment.
No matter the role each Compass team member serves in, the goal is the same: to provide the best care possible for each and every one of our patients. Whether we are a nurse holding our patient’s hand, or a scheduler on the phone finding an appointment that fits into a patient’s schedule, we are deeply connected to our patients and do what we can to help.
If this sounds like you, please reach out to us. We can’t wait to hear your story.

Our patients tell the story best
If you want the lowdown on what it is like to work at Compass, look no further than our patients’ comments on social media and public review sites. They tell us the truth and we listen to each word. Sometimes they help us know what we can do better. But most of the time they share their gratitude.

Thank you for everything you do! It takes a very special person to spend their days supporting people who are fighting for their lives. You don’t have to do it, but you do. Cancer care close to home
Compass is part of the community. And our patients can feel that. They see us supporting local non-profits that support cancer patients. They see us sponsoring blood drives and oncology support groups. They see our providers making presentations in person and online. They see and hear our advertising as we do our best to connect to our community. We are embedded in neighborhoods, standing ready when our neighbors need us most.
Sometimes we are asked: “Why do you do it?”
The answers are as unique as the stories that brought us to work with cancer patients at Compass. The common thread is a simple yet powerful statement, embedded in the heart of our collective mission…
