PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center is pleased to announce that Toni Storm-Dickerson, MD, has accepted the role of Surgical Medical Director at PeaceHealth Southwest’s Kearney Breast Center. Dr. Storm-Dickerson, a surgical oncologist with Compass Oncology, has a clear vision of the importance of providing seamless, integrated care. “As a breast surgeon, I believe in comprehensive breast care,” said Storm-Dickerson. “Our aim is a clinic without walls - featuring an entire team built around the patient. The Kearney Breast Center delivers the full spectrum of breast care including surgical, medical, and radiation oncology, plus reconstruction, nurse navigation, physical therapy and nutrition.”
PeaceHealth Southwest’s Chief Medical Officer Lawrence Neville, MD, says Dr. Storm-Dickerson’s extensive knowledge and experience in the field of breast care is a great benefit to Kearney Breast Center patients. “I am grateful to Dr. Storm-Dickerson for sharing her leadership and expertise with us to support our patients and the PeaceHealth Mission in our community,” said Neville.
Dr. Storm-Dickerson will focus on providing continued improvement for Kearney Breast Center patients, whether they come for routine mammograms or help in navigating the difficult journey of battling breast cancer. She is mindful of the importance in providing each patient with a calming, reassuring environment. “Our patients never consider their personal experience to be routine - whether they come to us for an annual mammogram or for follow up on a cancer diagnosis,” said Storm-Dickerson. “It is an honor to be entrusted with someone’s healthcare, with their life, and a privilege to travel their journey with them. It is important that we take the time to really see the individual. When we do that, we provide the best care.”
