Diagnosed with cancer at the age of 33, Genie understands first-hand the emotional weight, complex decisions, and deeply personal challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis. Her own experience fuels her passion to walk beside others with compassion, clarity, and unwavering support.

Genie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Aspen University and is a board-certified registered nurse licensed in both Washington and Oregon. Her passion lies in supporting and empowering patients by helping them navigate a complex healthcare system with clarity, compassion, and dignity.

With every interaction, Genie’s goal is to ease anxiety, be a friend, and act as a steady presence during uncertain times. She believes that every patient’s journey is unique and deserves personalized support. As a Nurse Navigator, she advocates fiercely, communicates openly, and walks alongside each patient to reduce their burden, so that they can focus on what matters most to them.

Beyond her clinical role, Genie is an active member of the American Cancer Society and proudly participates in Relay For Life events each year. She is also a committed advocate and member of Susan G. Komen Oregon & Washington, where she furthers her mission to champion breast health and cancer awareness throughout the region. Genie is clinically interested in breast cancer, women’s health, general oncology, and survivorship.

Genie’s blend of experience, advocacy, and genuine care makes her a trusted ally to the patients and families she serves. Genie is always aiming to lighten the load and make the journey a little less daunting.

In her spare time, Genie is an avid angler who finds peace and joy in the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. She spends time on local rivers pursuing steelhead and salmon, explores serene lakes for trout, and loves the thrill of fishing the ocean. Camping and being outdoors are among her favorite pastimes, but above all, she cherishes time spent with her daughter, making memories that last a lifetime.
