Biography

Dr. Kim became interested in oncology because of the long-term relationships formed between patients and physicians. She values trust and empathy in patient care and is an advocate of patient-centered decision making.

Her research interest is in evidence-based medicine and health policy and she has published widely in several peer-reviewed journals. Her clinical interest is in breast cancer and hematology.

When she is not working she enjoys playing the piano and exploring Oregon with her two sons.
