Dr. Cook has a passion for holistic patient care and appreciates the complexities of each patient’s unique needs. She believes that effective cancer care involves excellent communication, not just with members of the care team, but with the patient and their family members as well. She strives to ensure that each patient receives evidence-based, individualized, compassionate treatment.
She has published a multitude of articles in peer reviewed journals and presented her research at numerous conferences. She has a particular interest in patient-reported outcomes and the patient experience during cancer care.
Outside of work, Dr. Cook enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with her husband and daughter. She particularly enjoys skiing, mountain and road biking, and exploring restaurants and shops around Portland. At home, she likes cooking and is an avid reader of both fiction and nonfiction.
