Might have saved my life
Your comments: I was referred to Dr. Segal by my GP (internist). I had been sick for months and was losing weight; I had seen a couple of specialists who weren't sure what to do, and I had quite a few tests. Dr. Segal was very kind and insightful; he said "You need to go to the ER now, one kidney isn't working and the other is working at very low capacity" and he offered to DRIVE me to the ER himself! Ultimately he instead paid for a Lyft to take me there, and I was admitted, and I stayed four nights. I am much better now. He wasn't just smart and caring, he was informative and hands-on (my internist says Dr.Segal is his hero). I didn't, technically, need an oncologist but I am so glad I ended up with this doctor. He is really wonderful. – Vitals
