“It’s such an honor to be able to work with patients during one of the hardest times and help them through their journies.”
Shelby Ross is a Physician Assistant in medical oncology. Her desire to work in medicine began at an early age but it was her personal experience with a close family member battling colon cancer that drew her to oncology. Her goal is to be a resource for each patient’s unique needs, encouraging questions, opening up conversations about worries and developing strategies to support them on every level. Shelby places a high value on education about treatment and the support available throughout the greater Compass team.
In her spare time, Shelby enjoys hiking with her black lab and spending quality time with friends and family.
