Biography

Marisa began her career as a physician assistant initially in emergency medicine where she developed an appreciation of complex medical care and decision making. She eventually transitioned to oncology to be able to spend more time with patients and their families. 
Marisa has worked in a variety of hematology and oncology clinical and hospital settings throughout Oregon and Colorado, allowing her to learn a multitude of practice styles and considerations. 

Above all else, Marisa understands that cancer and its treatment will never be one size fits all, and strives to work closely with each patient to decide the best fitting plan of care for them moving forward.

Outside of work, Marisa enjoys time with family, hiking, reading, and gluten free baking.
