Dr. Will Winter, gynecologic oncologist at Compass Oncology, was quoted in the March MedPage Today article associating ESA use and an increased risk of venous thromboembolism and an increased risk of cancer recurrence. The study was published as an abstract and presented at a Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) meeting.
