Dr. Rushing was a guest speaker on the Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) Think Out Loud segment discussing Non-Communicable Diseases in Developing Countries. Dr. Rushing shared experiences from a trip to Rwanda in April where he and Caroline Fung, physician assistant, performed surgery, provided supplies and helped train local physicians to see and treat cervical cancer which is the No. 1 lethal cancer in Rwanda.
