Clinical Interests In my practice I strive to give patients advice, expertise, help and perspective in a way that they feel comfortable with me, professionally and personally. Once patients arrive at our center for treatment, our team will guide them with caring and commitment. I value the wealth of knowledge derived from clinical trials and encourage participation in clinical research. I received special training in breast cancer, clinical trials and genetics and feel passionate to share the knowledge with patients and families. My philosophy is that although cancer changes people’s lives, it should not dominate it.
The inspiration I received from many patients prompted me to give back and help them regain health and confidence. Hence our survivorship program began and brought a sense of great joy and happiness. I am grateful when our survivors walk out feeling healthier, happier, more affirmed, more zesty, than when they came in.
Personal Interests When our busy schedule allows, I enjoy exploring the Northwest backpacking with my husband and teenage son. On our farm we keep dogs and cats and I love gardening and cooking.
